Congratulations to David Wikiera, PCSD Inclusive Teacher of the Year

Pittsford PASS is pleased to announce the 2008-09 PCSD Inclusive Teacher of the Year is Mr. David Wikiera  of Allen Creek Elementary School.  Mr. Wikiera was chosen for his infectious enthusiasm for teaching and his compassion for students and their families.  Mr. Wikiera promotes an inclusive atmosphere each and every day, while he listens to parents and other school team members.  Mr. Wikiera's collaborative efforts foster a classroom environment in which all students experience success, together. 

A plaque with Mr. Wikiera's name will hang in the Pittsford Special Education Departments offices. 

Pittsford PASS received sixteen nominations for the Inclusive Teacher of the year Award.  Thank you to everyone for your well written and compassionate nominations!  Every teacher nominated received a letter of congratulations and has been recognized by the PCSD superintendent, Mary Alice Price and by each teacher's building principals.
